Planar Showdown on October 16!

Think you have what it takes to crush even the toughest competition in Ascension? Now's your chance to prove it! Planar Showdowns are a new type of event in which players will face off to be named a Planar Champion and go home with a brand new iPad 2! The first Planar Showdown is taking place on October 16 at Pandemonium Games in Cambridge, MA! Entry is open to everyone, so don't miss what's sure to be a great event!

Details

Registration: Noon – 1 pm
Tournament Start: 1pm
Entry Fee: $20

Format: Swiss rounds cut to top 8. Swiss rounds will be up to 4 players per game. Each round the winner of the table gets 6 points, 2nd place gets 3 points, 3rd place gets 1 point, and 4th place gets 0 points. Top 8 will be single elimination, 2 players per game.

All games will be played with Chronicle of the Godslayer and Return of the Fallen.

Prizes

1st place: An iPad 2 and a voucher for the Ascension app!
2nd place: $100 store credit
3rd – 4th: $50 Store credit
Top 8 will receive additional promo cards.
All participants will receive the Control Room promo card!
